I am in a quandry. I have a lady that lives next door to me whose illness made her thyroid stop producing so now they have he on thyroid medication and steroids. Is there something one can take to jumpstart the thyroid again?

June--

I know that iodine, zinc, selenium and coconut oil (there's probably more as well) are important in "jumpstarting" the thyroid.....

However, i'm no healthcare profesisonal either---someone with more Knowledge than I will have to address your question, as far as "information to take to the bank" :-)

But eating foods that are high in these things would be beneficial nonetheless......
