Guest guest
There is a Yoga position that also helps the thyroid. I don't know if I can give you the best description in writing, but here goes. Best done in the morning hours. Lay on the floor, you want to get your bottom as close to the wall as possible, place some pillows too under the bottom, so that you get your chest somewhat off the floor as well. It may take some blankets, pillows to get comfortable. This position will then let blood flow go to the thyroid, and give it a boost. Kelp and Dulse are good too add to salads, as they boost thyroid function. Word of caution: on the thyroid gland, do not let it go without treatment if the gland begins to look swollen in the neck, child is sleepy all the time, or lacks energy, not growing. Body temp is decreased, cold all the time, heart palpation's, swelling in hands, face & ankles, hair begins to fall out, losing eye brows, pain in joints trouble concentrating, poor grades. The list is long, these are just a few I mentioned. This tiny gland can cause a host of problems, and can cause other disorders that are life long. Keep an eye on lab values, for the TSH, Free T-3 and Free T-4. Allie L-tyrosine and SeleniumCorrect me if I am wrong guys.Selenium is bio-accumulative. So, it can reach toxiclevel accumulating in the body. At lower level we needit. L-Tyrosine is safe. Only my wife gets itching from it.The other way is cheese or meat or eggs.Exercise also raises the thyroid function. One must do all these things.Ratan.--- Begum Ibrahim <begumibrahim wrote:> My daughter is showing symptoms of hypothytoidism.
