We've found the most people expect their 'big daddy' doctors to fix their illnesses and bruises.

In our practice, it often took 2 years to get patients to take responsibility for taking preventive care of themselves. We call the missing link, "The Will to be Well."

Why do so many people smoke, use the cell phone to micro-wave their heads, etc.? It relates to their not having a supportive Will to be Well.

BUT we have a nice report on Aspartame for you. You can give them a copy, and then pray that it will have some effect. The harder you try to change their minds, the less success you'll have. You simply 'make it available' to them -- and wait . . .

The word 'doctor' is derived from the Old English root 'teacher' - and one should take this nuance seriously in trying to help someone to better health.
