Guest guest
I saw this and thought I would pass it on, not selling anything, just sharing this. Water prevents and helps to cure heartburn.Heartburn is a signal of water shortage in the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract. It is a major thirst signal of the human body. The use of antacids or tablet medications in the treatment of this pain does not correct dehydration, and the body continues to suffer as a result of its water shortage. Not recognizing heartburn as a sign of dehydration and treating it with antacids and pill medications will, in time, produce inflammation of the stomach and duodenum, hiatal hernia, ulceration, and eventually cancers in the gastrointestinal tract, including the liver and pancreas. Water prevents and helps to cure arthritis.Rheumatoid joint pain - arthritis - is a signal of water shortage in the painful joint. It can affect the young as well as the old. The use of pain-killers does not cure the problem, but exposes the person to further damage from pain medications. Intake of water and small amounts of salt will cure this problem. Water prevents and helps to cure back pain.Low back pain and ankylosing arthritis of the spine are signs of water shortage in the spinal column and discs - the water cushions that support the weight of the body. These conditions should be treated with increased water intake - not a commercial treatment, but a very effective one. Not recognizing arthritis and low back pain as signs of dehydration in the joint cavities and treating them with pain-killers, manipulation, acupuncture, and eventually surgery will, in time, produce osteoarthritis when the cartilage cells in the joints have eventually all died. It will produce deformity of the spine. It will produce crippling deformities of the limbs. Pain medications have their own life-threatening complications. Water prevents and helps to cure angina.Heart pain - angina - is a sign of water shortage in the heart/lung axis. It should be treated with increased water intake until the patient is free of pain and independent of medications. Medical supervision is prudent. However, increased water intake is angina's cure. Water prevents and helps to cure migraines.Migraine headache is a sign of water need by the brain and the eyes. It will totally clear up if dehydration is prevented from establishing in the body. The type of dehydration that causes migraine might eventually cause inflammation of the back of the eye and possibly loss of eye sight. Water prevents and helps to cure colitis.Colitis pain is a signal of water shortage in the large gut. It is associated with constipation because the large intestine constricts to squeeze the last drop of water from the excrements - thus the lack of water lubrication. Not recognizing colitis pain as a sign of dehydration will cause persistent constipation. Later in life, it will cause fecal impacting: it can cause diverticulitis, hemorrhoids and polyps, and appreciably increases the possibility of developing cancer of the colon and rectum. Water and salt prevent and helps to cure asthma.Asthma, which also affects 14 million children and kills several thousand of them every year, is a complication of dehydration in the body. It is caused by the drought management programs of the body. In asthma free passage of air is obstructed so that water does not leave the body in the form of vapor - the winter steam. Increased water intake will prevent asthma attacks. Asthmatics need also to take more salt to break the mucus plugs in the lungs that obstruct the free flow of air in and out of the air sacs. Not recognizing asthma as the indicator of dehydration in the body of a growing child not only will sentence many thousands of children to die every year, but will permit irreversible genetic damage to establish in the remaining 14 million asthmatic children. Water prevents and helps to cure high blood pressure.Hypertension is a state of adaptation of the body to a generalized drought, when there is not enough water to fill all the blood vessels that diffuse water into vital cells. As part of the mechanism of reverse osmosis, when water from the blood serum is filtered and injected into important cells through minute holes in their membranes, extra pressure is needed for the "injection process." Just as we inject I.V. "water" in hospitals, so the body injects water into tens of trillions of cells all at the same time. Water and some salt intake will bring blood pressure back to normal! Not recognizing hypertension as one of the major indicators of dehydration in the human body, and treating it with diuretics that further dehydrate the body will, in time, cause blockage by cholesterol of the heart arteries and the arteries that go to the brain. It will cause heart attacks and small or massive strokes that paralyze. It will eventually cause kidney disease. It will cause brain damage and neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease. Water prevents and helps to cure early adult-onset diabetes.Adult-onset diabetes is another adaptive state to severe dehydration of the human body. To have adequate water in circulation and for the brain's priority water needs, the release of insulin is inhibited to prevent insulin from pushing water into all body cells. In diabetes, only some cells get survival rations of water. Water and some salt will reverse adult-onset diabetes in its early stages. Not recognizing adult-onset diabetes as a complication of dehydration will, in time, cause massive damage to the blood vessels all over the body. It will cause eventual loss of the toes, feet and legs from gangrene. It will cause eye damage, even blindness. Water lowers blood cholesterol.High cholesterol levels are an indicator of early drought management by the body. Cholesterol is a clay-like material that is poured in the gaps of some cell membranes to safeguard them against losing their vital water content to the osmotically more powerful blood circulating in their vicinity. Cholesterol, apart from being used to manufacture nerve cell membranes and hormones, is also used as a "shield" against water taxation of other vital cells that would normally exchange water through their cell membranes. Guest guest
It's astonishingt that this article advises that increased water intake will "cure" angina. What amount of water will it take to produce this miracle? I'd certainly like to know. I've had angina for 12 years now, and know it to be a consequence of narrowed arteries, that will not permit enough perfusion of the heart muscle, when the body is exposed to an increased cardiovascular and muscular load. Not enough blood enters the heart muscle via it's own blood supply, because of blockages and narrowing, when there is increased demand, to bring a sufficient amount of oxygen to the heart muscle. When the heart muscle is starved for oxygen in this manner, angina (or heart pain) is felt, and if ignored will eventually precipitate a heart attack. What water has to do with all this, I can't imagine. Guest guest
Well, let's see, just off the top of my head...my assessment is that arteries narrow because cholesterol is laid down to protect them from bursting because blood has been thick and friction on the walls of the arteries has thinned them, so the body used the cholesterol to patch the walls. Why was the blood thick? Dehydration. Drink the water, thin the blood, thicken the walls of the arteries, thin the cholesterol, lose the angina. That's the trail I see. Guest guest
If you give me a reasonable idea of "how much" water we're talking about, and for what period of time I should have to drink it, and I'll set about drinking slightly more than that amount, for a bit longer than you suggest. Please let me know how I can safely get in touch with you, and I'll send you $1000.00 if I notice a substantial reduction in my angina. It won't even have to be a cure (complete elimination of the angina); just a substantial reduction. Don't have a second thought about the seriousness of this offer, or about my ability to detect a substantial improvement in my angina symptoms. I've had angina for 12 years, and it is a pain like no other. It occurs with near complete predictibility under clear-cut circumstances. If there's a small change, I'm strongly aware of it. But a large reduction would absolutely leave me in a state of shock. I'm not much for drinking large amounts of water, and have been instructed by a hygienic doctor, to rely on my thirst and taste to guide me. But have no doubt about my ability to discipline myself, and drink your recommended quantity of water. After I first left the hospital with doctor-diagnosed angina, 11 years ago, I immediately commenced to follow the Dr. Ornish diet for heart disease. I followed this diet, faithfully, for four years; not allowing myself to eat more, and often ate less, than 10% calories from "all" fats consumed in my diet. If you think that's easy, try it. Guest guest
Rule of thumb on water is a quart per 50 pounds of body weight plus a quart per day, more if you're ill. If you're 150 pounds, that means minimally 4 quarts a day, and if ill 5 quarts...at 151 pounds round up another quart. You also want to make sure it is water, not water with a lemon added, not tea, anything added to the water makes it no longer water, but something the body has to digest to get the water out of it. Filtered water is better than municipal water. I would not use distilled water. If you're in the United States, the best bottled water I have found is Aquafina, as it is filtered with reverse osmosis then has nothing else added back in. If you drink anything besides water, add as much additional water to your intake for that day as the amount of whatever else you drank. I'm at js_kat, if you wish to communicate with me. I do not wish anything from you, except to see you return to health. Guest guest
Hi, I do not get the statement here about adding lemon... you are still ingesting the water itself. Adding lemon is the only way I can get 4 quarts a day into myself. Also, have read drinking more than you need overworks the kidneys. Guest guest
Then tea is just water, with added tea, right? It's just plain water that you put a little something extra in. Wrong. The body can take water and begin to use it immediately upon drinking it if it is just water. If it has anything else added to it, then it must go through the digestive process to pull out the water and use it. If you have an issue with drinking water without lemon, then you probably have an issue with copper, because water usually comes from your municipality in copper pipes. Once the copper allergy is cleared, then water tastes a lot better. As far as overworking the kidneys by drinking too much water, that's nearly impossible to do. The kidneys are much more overworked by sodas and other drinks than they are by water. Water, in fact, helps heal the kidneys. Water helps keep everything flowing, when you don't take in enough water, you're moving sludge through the kidneys. kat , " Kathy " <vanokat@m...> wrote: > > Hi, > I do not get the statement here about adding lemon... you are still > ingesting the water itself. > Adding lemon is the only way I can get 4 quarts a day into myself. > Also, have read drinking more than you need overworks the kidneys.
