Guest guest
Attilio, If I remember correctly there is a curious little passage in Sun Si Miao somewhere, in which he states that vitiligo in a man results from having sexual intercourse with a woman who has not completed her menstrual period. No wonder that the cause remained unknown to modern researchers! So far as how to treat, unless you discover that your friend is having (or has had) intercourse with a woman in such a condition, I'd say you'd have to roll up your sleeves and just treat the whole friend. You want to discuss the details of the case? Guest guest
Seems like this is also related to Thyroid problems, he may need to have some thyroid tests run, T-4, T-3, and TSH blood work. Also would make an appt with an Endocrinologist He could use a antifungal cream to the white patch in the meantime. Guest guest
If it is not vitilago, it may be treated with selsun (sp) I had this problem many years ago. It was on my back and really showed up in the sun. Used the prescription and it went away for good.
