Guest guest Posted May 30, 2005 Report Share Posted May 30, 2005 Re: Chronic Fatigue: A polio by another name I recently attended a lecture here by Prof Ian Brighthope who asked the audience (doctors, naturopaths and many other disciplines) what they thought today's major cause of this type of ailment was & no one knew what it could be - so eventually he described in great detail that allergy to wheat proteins causes all this type of condition and far far more than we can ever imagine. He described allergy to wheat proteins as todays great pretender - it causes so much widespread damage in every area of the body. The beginning of the last century it was syphilis - now wheat. Ref: www.nutritioncare.com.au I got to admit I laughed seeing this, I mean we know this and doctors know this BUT when I explained to my doctor what happens to me when I eat bread that a little old, (the hair goes staticky, I start getting itchy, and the grey moss appears below my lips) and tell her about yeast overgrowth etc ..... she doesn't believe in any of that.
