Eyebright is one of the primary herbal sources for eye care.

It is especially useful for eye strain, eye inflammations, and

DR. CHRISTOPHER ON HERBAL EYEBRIGHT

 

Formulated around the herb eyebright, this formula feeds the

cell structures around the eyes. Dr. Christopher used it in many

instances to help restore sight. It would be brewed into a tea for

use as an eyewash, as well as taken internally. It could relieve the

pressure of glaucoma, remove scar tissue on the cornea caused

by infection, and remove cataracts. An elderly man in Fort Worth,

Texas, suffered from both glaucoma and cataracts and was healed

Answer: In order for any herbal combination to be effective, the

body must be in good working condition. This would include using the lower

USAGE

 

The eyecup is a small, glass or plastic cup which is specially shaped so

that it can be held up to and over an eye socket. You then hold it tightly

over the eye socket in such a way that it creates a seal and will not

spill out

no matter what position your head is in. Next, you tip your head back while

holding the eyecup filled with solution tightly over your eye. In this

way the

eye can be given a " bath " when you open your eye lids and let the solution

wash over the eye itself. The cup usually can hold almost an once of fluid.

 

You use the eyebright concentrate by taking the eyecup and

filling it

about three quarters full with distilled water. Then, add one, two, ten

or more

drops of the concentrate to the water in the eyecup; ( The stronger you

make

the solution the bigger and faster the benefits will be). Next, bend

your head

over the eyecup and solution, take up the eyecup with your hand and

place the

open end of the cup to one of your eye sockets, press tightly to make a

good

seal, tip your head back, open your eye and hold open for a good time while

rolling your eye ball around.

 

For Eyebright to be utilized internally it would be brewed into a

tea. One

would then consume 3 - 4 cups of tea per day.
