Guest guest
Anybody on the list here dealt with any old root canals? I'am currently on ODSP, so can't afford real help unless I go to the courts and explain that I have the Charter of Rights behind me as a human being, but you can only imagne what they'd think of that one! But my front lower tooth is almost black, from a root canal I had about 12 years ago. I don't want to just have my tooth pulled out, and I want to go to an Alternative Dentist, but what can I do in the meantime? Root Canals are horrifying, If I had known when I was younger, I probably would have just kept drinking those B-52's, and stopped eating sugar! Guest guest
All the root canals I've had done I've capped. The thought it was a matter of course that if the nerve was taken out the tooth died and turned black. Can you cap it? Guest guest
Ed, A tooth may discolor. However, the main reason is that the tooth is no longer alive. So it looses it strength. They are capped in hopes of saving the tooth from cracking, splitting, etc. Jeff On Behalf Of Ed Siceloff Sunday, May 22, 2005 7:58 PM Re: Black Tooth All the root canals I've had done I've capped.
