Great to see that we have had our foods rearranged successfully.

Only ONE PROBLEM.......

If I DO NOT get any protein - from MEAT, I go into ....... shakes,

concentration problems, vagueness, exude ammonia smelling sweat, reduce my

fuse by about 90%, and begin to cannibalise protein from my system ... where

does this leave me.....

The new four food groups

Again, much worth sending out: / Janice /

NEAL D. BARNARD, M.D.

The new four food groups are grains, legumes,

vegetables, and fruits. Meat and dairy lose their food

group status, and fruits and vegetables no longer

share a single group. This straightforward proposal

sets in motion the most powerful dietary policy ever,

one charged with the potential to save tens of

millions of lives, including your own.

In Food for Life, Dr. Barnard makes the clearest

case yet for this dietary revolution. Citing

overwhelming medical evidence (previously downplayed

by powerful lobbying groups), Dr. Barnard reveals why

a diet based on the new four food groups will sharply

decrease the risk of cancer and heart disease and

dramatically increase life expectancy. And, most

important, the quality of those later years will take

a dramatic turn toward vitality and well-being.

Dr. Barnard unveils a 21-day program for a smooth

transition to the new four food groups. These foods

are naturally low in fat, cholesterol, and salt; high

in fiber, vitamins, and minerals; and will enable you

to eat as much as you want and still lose weight! Dr.

Barnard's program takes into consideration a wide

range of special needs and situations, and each daily

menu and recipe shows just how enticing and flexible

the new four food groups can be.

Food for Life proposes a bold new remedy for a

society burdened by health problems. It also provides

a specific plan for everyday people, a program full of

practical and appealing suggestions for changing the

way we eat. Food for Life has the power to transform

the future, to give us all the opportunity for a long

and vital life.
