One research site but doesn't appear to involve " testing " on people:

http://www.celltech.com/resources/truth.asp

Another link that refers to some research is at:

http://www.doglogic.com/algae.htm

The article can actually be found at, with due credits given:

http://rainforesttreasure.com/Jana-Aquazon/Jana.asp

That particular article covers aphanizomenon-phos aquae effects on

circulation and immune cells. What appear to be beneficial effects. I

don't know who sponsored the research. But it does back up some

claims. Published in JANA (Journal of the American Neutraceutical

Association). Which would be an association of the " industry. " But,

that doesn't automatically discount the research. Claims from

tradition can be, and are everyday, backed up by " modern " research.

Also, some claims are shown to be impossible, and then other

traditional type " cures " work in such an unknown way that they can not

be proven by research.

Here is reference to testing relating to availability (mostly against

but some for) of b12 in algal products:

http://www.scienzavegetariana.it/nutrizione/alga_klamath_en.html In

the references section note the reflection on " Agriculture " " Food " etc.

These are governmentally defined words, with, probably, governmentally

defined testing. Some, that are all for " regulating " would agree with

the governmental stringency. Some, myself, are against it, recognizing

that government exists to protect the interests of the status quo.

But, either or, truth can often be ciphered out and a true consensus

formed.

Another site that cites a fair amount of research (that I suppose can

be looked up, but I haven't done so) is

http://www.americangrassfedbeef.com/e3live-research.asp I don't

know whether e3alive is a distributor of Cell-Tech's or whether they

are another organization harvesting the crop and then they in turn sell

it to farmers for cattle feed (grass fed cattle?).

All the above links are found through googling. Another, which I

haven't read but looks very promising is at:

http://www.findarticles.com/p/search?tb=art & qt=Green+algae+%2F+Research

Hope that that helps serve the purpose of the debate between Carol

and madcowcoverup to dispense knowledge of algae. I think that the

purposeful use of algae is too new to say exactly what it does. In the

cultures before the 20th century, they ate herbs, vegetables, meats,

etc. to live and, unfortunately that attitude was taken advantage of by

the food industry of the 20th century. I include in their industry the

medicine industry. Food IS medicine, and real medicine is food. In

certain tenets of Taoism one eats certain herbs as food for his

particular weaknesses, both of the body and the spirit. The same has

been true in native American (first nations peoples) cultures. But

there were also medicines used. WE all know what happened in the 20th

century with the outgrowth from the chemical industry (largely started

by Rockefeller and ESSO) and the takeover of medicine (doing away with

traditional cures, all of them, to get rid of the quackery in favor of

Rockefeller profits in quackery) followed by the agriculture industry

(our foods).

I'm not a distributor publicly (could be) of anything. If one has to

make money for his information, then the person is not involved in

healing others, much less himself/herself. Money is too often at the

root of anything done. Its a necessity in our society, but good grief,

what kind of spirit does one have if everything (like healing) gets

reduced to one thing, money.
