Guest guest
--- The 5 kingdoms were Monera, Protista, Plants, Animals and Fungi. The kingdoms fundamentally split the prokaryotes from the eukaryotes by placing the prokaryotes on their own as Kingdom Monera. It is still considered to be the most natural and unambiguous kingdom within this system, its boundary set by distinct prokaryotic organisation of the nucleus. The prokaryotes are bacteria, which include the Cyanophyta, the blue-green algae. Despite the prokaryotic organisation of the Cyanophyta, they possess unique photosynthetic pigments not present in the rest of the group, and they release free oxygen as a by-product of photosynthesis. Organisms of the other four kingdoms all consist of cells organised on the eukaryotic plan In , " madcowcoverup " <k_t723> wrote: > --- hi Carol, > I'd like to see those that sell the product eat it straight out of > the lake, just so the could back up what they say, but I doubt very > seriously they would be happy with the results tho > and the actual intention of the ? was what critters eat algae in > nature ? Guest guest
---let me rephrase the question for you in nature what organisms naturally eat bacteria?? since blue/green algae is in reality bacteria, if you eat it from the water will it result in a bacterial infection?? and is there another agenda to removing oxygen producing organisms from the environment? hmmm In , " madcowcoverup " <k_t723> wrote: > --- The 5 kingdoms were Monera, Protista, Plants, Animals and Fungi. > The kingdoms fundamentally split the prokaryotes from the eukaryotes > by placing the prokaryotes on their own as Kingdom Monera. Guest guest
....which means it's owned by Monsanto Corporation... ...and what are We The People going to do about this kind of thing?! Public Citizen and MoveOn.org are doing some mighty good work. I get so extremely depressed about all this stuff, and then I see that I'm NOT alone, people are speaking up, and I feel so much better. You better believe it that the corporations or anybody else who stands to gain money and power will run over us roughshod unless we stand up to them. Guest guest
---I'm impressed Joy !!! you are absolutely correct, the distributors of that bacteria in actuality are working for Monsanto Corp. Hmmm! so how safe does one think it is ? to consume that bacteria knowing that it is being promoted by Monsanto how many safe products does Monsanto market? none that I know of but if I'm wrong I'll be more than happy to admit so In , " joyinthewoods " <peessnic@a...> wrote: > ...which means it's owned by Monsanto Corporation... ...and what > are We The People going to do about this kind of thing?! Guest guest
Actually, it cannot be classified as bacteria. It has a unique blend of plant, animal, and bacteria. It can be called a plant because it has chlorophyll and performs photosynthesis; it can be called an animal because it has a non-cellulous cell wall made of protein; it can be called bacteria because the cells have no nuclei, no nuclear membrane. " madcowcoverup " <> since blue/green algae is in reality bacteria,
Guest guest
--- Really so the scientists at MIT and Harvard which classify life forms are wrong and the manufacturer is right? methinks not! sounds more like corporate propaganda inline with the bunk of the parent corporations of Monsanto - Bechtel - IG FARBEN that bacteria or whatever you want to call it filters toxins from the air/water. so tell the people where are the scientific tests which prove the toxins were removed in processing?? tell us inquiring minds want to know In , " Carol Minnick " <carolminnick@a...> wrote: > Actually, it cannot be classified as bacteria.
