Cold Sores

I used to work at a golf course and most of the golfer's at one time

or another had a cold sore. I myself, used to get them frequently.

When I was pregnant, I had 5! What a nightmare!

 

What I have found is as soon as you feel like you're getting a cold

sore on your lips or mouth area, take an ice cube and wrap it in a

paper towel or something so you can hold it with part of the ice cube

out and put it against where it feels like you're getting a sore.

You'll have to remove it now and then as it is so cold but keep doing

it until the ice cube is gone. Maybe even 2 ice cubes. In my

situation it freeze's it from coming out.

 

Also, if you already have one, hydrogen peroxide seems to dry them

out faster to make them heal. Just dab it on as much as possible. I

also use a lip balm called Savex that Longs Drugs and a few other

places carry. It helps to keep them at bay and relieve's the pain

from them.

 

Of course this probably won't work for everyone, but I have seen it

work on myself and other's.

 

For some reason, I don't get them anymore. Sometime's I feel like I

might be getting one but it doesn't come out.

 

There is nothing worse than having a cold sore for all to see and the

pain from them.

 

I was put on prempro a few years ago when I had really good

insurance. I went to a new doctor and he wanted me off of it. Said

that no woman should take it for over a year because tests were

showing it was causing cancer. He put me on the synthetic one's

where you take 2 pills and I couldn't tolerate them so I switched to

a cream that you put on certain parts of your body. I have since

stopped the cream also.

 

Now if I could only figure out how to stop these high frequency

noises I would be ecstatic!

 

I find it amazing that these air/ionizer's are still being

advertised. I hope everyone returns the one's that EPA endorsed and

put them out of business. Making money off of people trying to get a

little clean air to breathe and ending up causing more harm than

good. That's just wrong. Now if we could just quit buying crap made

in China, the USA would definately be a better place!

 

Army is burning over 1,000 tons of VX a nerve gas in Indiana then

taking it to the Deleware River in NJ to dump it. CDC has concerns

about the fish...people won't be effected so dive right in! When

will these people that are supposed to be protecting us be held

responsible for the harm they've caused us and our environment?
