Positive TB test

does anyone have an suggestions on alternatives for positive TB, have 2 i know now positive, we work in hospital.

 

one started on INH and zymes went way up, so they are considering rifampin, i started her on milk thistle and recommended samE too, but she said the milk thistle made her very constipated and it was the only change she had. the other has not and does not want to start drug therapy but being mandated.

Have you had a chest xray? T.B. tests can often show a false positive. I work in the nursing field and if a T.B. test is positive, then a chest xray is ordered. In the nursing field, we must have a T.B. test each year and there are many false "positives".AMBERSNME wrote:
