It takes 500 gallons of whey to extract and dry 1 kg of powder

(Immunocal figures), and a common daily dose of the whey is about 30

grams, so that would be 15 gallons of raw whey. You can see a human

can not drink that much whey; however, as a maintenance for a healthy

person it is a good thing to drink as much as possible.

 

Cold-processed whey donates glutathione precursors; cooked whey does

not. As most diseases and all degenerative disorders are linked to

glutathione depletion, it's necessary to use the raw product.

 

Severely milk intolerant people tolerate Immunocal very well because

the bovine-specific components, lactose and fat have been removed;

other wheys will produce varying effects depending on their

extraction methods and thus degree of purity. People who do not

tolerate the whey can use essential amino acids from another source

plus n-acetylcysteine, whch donates the needed glutathione precursor

but has a half life of only two hours so must be give five times

daily. Although there are toxic side issues with this chemical, this

is the common emergency room method to stop the liver from liquefying

during acetaminophen overdose.
