Guest guest
Organic is best but even if you change your eating habits it will help... read some of the articles and you will better understand... If you can grow any of your own veges that is good. IT is the fact of all the chemicals in processed foods for one thing. Cleaning up your diet will help you. And if you can't make total tonic with organics then fresh veges and find the best apple cider vinegar you can... this is better than not taking it at all. And soaking your grains and beans etc... to sprout them is better than buying beans in a can... there are things you can do to improve your health. IF you can buy from a farmer versus buying in a grocery store.... get the idea? Doing something is better than continuing the way you are right now. A tincture is as follows from the files: How to Make a TinctureI'm going to keep this very simple. There are many variations, but the following will get you through just about any situation when it comes to making any tincture you wish. And there won't be any better tinctures out there.1. On the New Moon, fill a blender half full with a bunch of herbs.2. Pour on top of the herbs 100 Proof Vodka so that the liquid settles 2 inches above the top level of the herbs in the blender.3. Blend the hell out of it for about a minute.4. Pour the mixture into a glass Mason jar and go store it in a dark place.5. At least once a day, shake your mixture.6. After two weeks (on the Full Moon), press your mixture using a Beer Press, a Potato Ricer and an organic cotton canvas clothe, or the fanciest press you can find and money can buy ;o)7. Store your tincture in brown bottles and keep out of the light. You're done. That's all there is to it. You can use Apple Cider Vinegar instead of Alcohol with certain herbs, and my recommendation is to stay away from using Glycerin. There you go! You've just made the best tincture there is and which will really work.Love,DocCopyright © by Ian 'Doc' Shillington. All rights reserved. I am not sure what I am supposed to do and how often. Also how important is organic-ness? We are on a VERY tight budget and most of the organic stuff I could never afford. Am I better not doing it at all, or can I use non orgainc ingrediants. What will the difference be.Thanks AGAIN!Elizabeth John: The recipe for Total Tonic is in the files section, and is VERY easy to make. Hope you like HOT AND SPICY! We take one dropperful three times a day. Even our five year old is taking it now, but in a glass of water. He is the only one in his first grade class that does not have a serious cold right now.
