Guest guest
Elizabeth, Good for you - start eating more fruits and veges... stop the milk unless it is almond milk, stop the breads, pastas, meats, etc... drink a lot of water... make yourself some total tonic.. and get Docs tape , listen to it and call him. This is a good start till you call doc. SuziElizabeth Boyce <elizabethaboyce wrote: Okay- I know I need to change the way that I eat and get off the meds I am on. Quick low down- I eat like crap- mostly milk, carbs and proteins. I don't actually eat enough and get little to none veggies or fruits. I am currently taking Ultram and Vicodin for pain, Allegra-D for allergies, Glucophage for insulin, Bextra for inflammation, Soma for headaches and to help me sleep, and Melatonin for Restless Leg Syndrome. I have been on most of these meds for over a year now and know that I am going to kill myself. I have heard yall mention a cleanse and would like to know how exactly I go about starting on one. I read the file and it helped alittle but I am still confused. I am going to order docs lecture and then give him a call, but would like some help on getting my body detoxified. Also I have had a headache every day for almost 2 months now and think I am going to lose my mind. Other than the med and food thing what else can I do? The sooner the better!!ThanksElizabeth
Guest guest
Got any organic stores around... or make your own... do a search in the message archives... it's there in a number of places. Also lemon egg would be good for you - for calcium... (recipe in the files) also try http://www.living-foods.com/index.shtml for alot of recipes too. There are some breads are okay ... and you can eat sprouts.. they are good.... salads... smoothies. One way to make almond milk...... Soak 1/4 cup raw almonds in 1 cup of distilled/purified water overnight. Pour the almonds and the water they were soaked in into a blender and add raw honey and vanilla if you wish. Blend for 2 minutes. You can strain the mixture after blending if you wish. I do, as I don't like the gritty taste of the milk otherwise. Elizabeth Boyce <elizabethaboyce wrote: I can do the milk thing and eat fruits and veggies, but what else do you eat if not carbs and meats?!!?!! I am at a loss on how to sustain life without these things... someone clarify my thinking please- recipes would be helpful. And where do I buy almond milk?Elizabeth Suzi Senior Moderator
Guest guest
Gregg, I have to disagree with you here... the Asians aren't drinking what is out here on the market...the You really have to search to find Soy milk that is pure. Have you read the article in the files A Bedtime Story (or) How I discovered a Frankenfood Monster or any of the many articles in the files regarding soy... It is very hard to find a good soy product... Rice milk would even be a good alternative. Do a web search regarding soy milk... You're better off staying away from it here in the U.S. Suzi Tigger Greg <greg wrote: You can eat organic meats and organic milk, cheese and not matter what anyone says soy is not that bad for you.. asian's have been eating it and drinking it for 1,000's of years... >
Guest guest
Stop taking the Allegra now, one of its side effects is severe headaches. Some feverfew tincture will help ease the pain. You will want to make some Total Nutrition as instructed in the files and do call Doc, he is a sweetie and can help you lots :-) Janet - Elizabeth Boyce herbal remedies Monday, September 15, 2003 5:39 PM [herbal remedies] Cleanse info Okay- I know I need to change the way that I eat and get off the meds I am on. Guest guest
Find a market that sells certified organic foods and switch all your shopping to there. You will find all sorts of great foods to eat.
