Guest guest
Hi Laura, I would probably add a good Calcium/Magnesium supplement and/or juice lot's of greens daily. Make the lemon egg if you like instead. ACV with honey, maple syrup, agave or molasses (making it PP) 2x daily. I like ACV w/ raw honey in a glass of water 2x daily. You need B vitamins and since Total Nutrition is such a good source I would add it. I would add MSM 3x daily- it is not expensive. Take it with the C. I'm a huge fan of Chinese medicine including acupuncture. TMJ may be dealt with in a variety of ways- cranial sacral, acupuncture, shiatsu and chiropractic (important for jaw alignment imo) and ear candles are some approaches. I would see who is good in your area and speak to them- find someone well trained and holistic. Many offer a free consultation. I love Shiatsu!! Also, since stress is often a big factor I would look at how you can create more balance if that is a factor. Are you exercising? Good relaxation methods? Aromatherapy can help here too. Your diet does sound good already- YEA!! Make sure you get lot's of juicy fruits and raw veggies. You could try a raw diet for a month or at least eliminate grains and stay vegan and see if you have more improvement. Let me know if you want any aromatherapy recipes. Guest guest
What is the dosage you are taking on the Vit C? Take the astragalus every day. Get UDO's 3-6-9 blend oil and replace the flax seed with it. Do add the PP and Lemon Egg to your routine, I think mineral loss may be at least partly responsible for your symptoms. Guest guest
Well, Vitamin C in large amounts can increase absorption of iron which in turn decreases the absorption of manganese. Copper is lowered in persons consuming Vit C regularly too. I m wondering if your body just needs a short break from the extra Vit C? Janet - laura_e25 herbal remedies Wednesday, September 10, 2003 1:34 PM [herbal remedies] Re: acupuncture/tmj...please help!! this is really interesting...could you say more about why you think this? not doubting you at all...just the more info the better. i just wonder b/c i've had these symptoms during the past two years where my mineral intake was much better...and didn't have them before...but then again...things have a way of building up. i will have to check on the vitamin c dosage...i think i take about 1/4 a tsp. of the crystals twice daily but i'm not sure what that amounts to. luv lauraherbal remedies , "Janet Seidlitz" <dragonhealing@c...> wrote:> What is the dosage you are taking on the Vit C?
