Hi again,

Ok, question number 2.

As winter approaches everywhere we turn people will sneeze and

cough and drip stuff. If one kid brings something home we all

end up getting it. And we don't suffer for 3-5 days. There is

a lag between one getting it and another catching it. So it's

weeks of dealing with it which is draining for the parents not

to mention unhappy for the kids.

What do you consider essential for keeping on hand? Today I saw

a " homeopathic kit " for $30. It had 6 remedies in it. Each was

a blend. One was for migraine, another for arthritis. Price

wise it's ok. A blend or single remedy costs $6.99 - $8.99

around here. They had one for kids too but I didn't look

closely at it.

Again, this list discusses many forms of healing. I'm

interested in what everyone thinks whether homeopathic or

herbal.

Thanks,

Dawne

Total tonic (in the files under Doc Ian Shillington) and Echinacea.

TT is nature's own antibiotic...and Echinacea kick starts the body's own immune system into high gear.

All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV (and now AVG) for both our protection.

Dawne, prevention is the key here. Start with a good nutritional supplement and great diet and you and the children won't catch the bugs at all. Doc's Total Nutrition formula works well for all ages. Before I used that I gave the kids DinoPals by FreeLife (horrible MLM but good supplements). They work great for children as well.

Always keep a bottle of Total Tonic (formula in the files) on hand. Echinacea tincture for extra immune boosting during a health crisis. Tea Tree oil for cuts and abrasions. Catnip tea for tummy problems and relaxing. Feverfew tincture for headaches, fever and diarrhea.

Start switching over to only certified organic foods and make sure you always have fresh produce on hand. My kids like fresh fruit and veggies as snacks.
