Good Morning,

Yall remember Wayne cutting off the first digit if his left middle finger....I hope!

Well, that was wayyyyyyy back in April, I think...

The surgeon at the ER clipped some of the bone in order to get the skin that was left to close the opening (it was already open as the smash got some of it with the end of his finger).

Don gave me the stuff I put on it instead of taking the antibiotics and scrip pain meds and it worked mighty fast and was pain free except when he bumped it...

Anyhow, everything was fine. It closed completely except for two little holes that looked like stitch holes...

Well, the other night he got a needle and tweezers and picked what looked like dirt and maybe finger nail out of one of the holes and he couldn't get the piece out of the other hole. And, I have been soaking it in epsom salts and hot water as he said it was tender and I was thinking maybe there was something else too far in there to reach.

Yesterday he smacked it at work and said some white stuff came out about as much as would fill a good sized pea. He said it was as white as paper.

So, we soaked it again last night.

This morning he said some more of that stuff came out, enough to fill up the end of a bobby pin, still white with some blood.

Now, I don't know if this would have anything to do with his finger, but....

Last month his back started hurting and we just thought his back was pulled, so done all the stuff it usually takes for him to get some relief, and nothing worked.

He even purposely strained it one day at work by picking up a transmission by his damn self, thinking that would go ahead and knock it out, he'd suffer, but it would go on and heal up then...

No dice. It just kept having this thob on both sides of his back bone.

Then, it hit us...maybe it was his kidneys!

So, we got a gallon of unsweetened cranberry juice and he drank half the first night and the rest the next night, with nothing but water and food in the mean time.

The first night he woke up and was puking and dizzy and said he peed all blood and thought he was dying.

Now, I don't know about the blood, but I think the puking was from the juice not setting too well on that old belly of his...

Well, he said he felt some relief, so done the same the next night. Said he got up during the night and didn't get sick this time, but his pee was real cloudy...usually, Wayne's pee is a clear easter egg yellow...well, not that yellow, but very clear.

Now, I am worried he may have a bone infection...(My 17 yo had osteomelitus *bone infection* in her left clavicle from dislocating both ends on a trampoline and then getting strep throat before the clavicle healed at least that's what the MDs said, and she had problems with her kidneys at the same time)

I am going to start putting that mix that Don gave me back on the finger and dumping TT and Echinacea down him, but, is there anything else yall would do?

Would you keep soaking it in Epsom Salts or do I need some Total Draw?

Please folks, I can not afford for him to get real sick right now...we are just beginning to get caught up from the shop mess.

Help!

I know he needs a good cleansing, but he just ain't willing...I'm begging for something else, even if it is a bandaid.

Thanks so much,

Angel
