Guest guest
Doc, " when I stop stinking up the dosage " on DMSO? No I don't remember anythign about that -- more info, please? What does, " stop stinking " mean... only one person has ever found me unpleasant these past two weeks. Many can't tell. Thep eople I'm staying with say I smell like good soup. they can smell me the moment they open the front door, but find it pleasant. Have I been doing nothing with it this past week and a half??? Pain meds -- When the pain got so intense that I could neither speak coherently nor walk straight, I buckled and filled my percocet prescription. I wish the message had gone out yesterday morning when I tried to ask the first tim by last night it was too late. I then found out from the people I'm staying with that I was screaming during my sleep the night before (they thought I was awake and knew, but I have no recollection) -- they also said if I hadn't come ot that conclusion on my own, they were prepared to pack me down to the hospital involuntarily. My oral surgery was on Wednesday. Days 4 and 5 are frequently the worst for pain. I know I can't blow my nose or sneeze for a week due to the hole between my sinuses and mouth, nor brush my teeth normally for that smae time. The prescription was a 10-day prescription for the drugs. So it looks like the pain is anticipated for about a week -- 4 more days or so. Now that the drugs are in me :( i'm left wondering about damage control. Should I not start Week #3 on Monday as planned? What modifications do I need for the clenase? Maybe I shoudl call Doc on Monday when his line opens up again? Uunfortunatley, I'm also dealing with a time pressure on the other end -- The cleanse was supposed to be done 9/20 onmy schedule, and on 9/21 I'm flying cross-country to spend 5 weeks with my future in-laws. I did have some motivation for my madness, see... If it matters at all, I'm also running a fever. I don't know if that's normal after surgery, if there's an infection from the surgery, or if I caught the bug that one of the people I'm staying with has been sick from all week. Certianly i'm stressed and compromised, but I'm also taking Echinacea 3x/day and 1Tbsp total tonic 3 x/day. Hard to fathom anything could survive that. Speakign of which, that dosage of total tonic is really hard to keep down, I have to fight nausea every time. well, not every time, just most of the time. Sorry for rambling so. I know I'm really out of it. I hope I'm somewhat coherent. (apparantly the pharmacist warned the friends I'm staying with that the percocet would make me loopy and they were just amused, as I've already been so incoherent and unable to talk from my insistnace on doing this without pain meds...) I'm going back to bed now. Tyrie
Guest guest
Hi Tyrie, re: DMSO, as long as you smell the DMSO on your body, stay on the dosage you're on. If you stop smelling it, increase the dosage by 1 dropperful. There were the instructions Doc gave me when he put my son on DMSO :-) Sorry, can't help you with the rest. Hopefully someone else has more information about this than I. Wish you well though <hugs> love, Lisa - Tyrie Grubic herbal remedies Saturday, September 06, 2003 6:08 PM [herbal remedies] Cleanse Q's; Pain meds and DMSO Doc, "when I stop stinking up the dosage" on DMSO?
