Guest guest
I thought I'd check in about my cleanse...it's been interesting. Hell week was not bad at all- just needed to be near a toilet. I did the " bomb " last night and I was hoping on some stones...but there were none. I was kind of disappointed but in reality it's good ;-) Anyone else have this experience? I thought there would be some odor too (from me) last week ...but none even after working out hard. I show up after a big sweaty rollerblade and people say I smell good. (could be the essential oils!) It's been 20 years since I used deodorant so I can tell if there is odor lol. I've been doing the regular program basically just sped up plus DMSO and plus the Blood Cleansing duo. Doc (methinks a smart guy) said he doubted I'd have any stones and I did not believe it- he was right. I figured everyone had some. I experienced no discomfort during the cleanse at all except for the horrible taste of the Blood Detox tincture and tea (which is an addition to the regular protocol). Anyway...I'm still cleansing- kidneys now- much like my regular routine w/ the Master Cleanse....and I just ate a yummy lunch/meal. I'm not doing potassium broth- I usually do make it in winter when I come off the Master Cleanse, but in summer I prefer raw. Lunch today: in the blender- 1 avocado 2 garlic cloves some olive oil- probably 1/2 cup slice habenero pepper Nama Shoyu - oh 2 tbsp maybe some fresh suqeezed OJ about a cup a few sun dried tomatoes a little pure water a bunch of cilantro till smooth- I ate some as a dip wip jicama sticks and some a little more diluted as soup. Very full...feeling good though. Avocados make me happy. I actually have not heard much sharing about this cleanse given I am new here. Anyway, I feel good, and I think my liver is happy. I will do some blood work in the next few weeks and check to see how I'm doing in terms of viral load (hepC). Anyone else cleansing? Guest guest
Dear Liz, Have you listened to my cassette lecture yet??? I go into the subject of how to handle a healing crisis in quite a lot of detail. These can be gotten around without the necessity of feeling like you're gonna die ;o) Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - Liz Tomboline herbal remedies Thursday, August 28, 2003 5:39 PM [herbal remedies] Re: total cleanse Hi Suzanne, I have thought about a total cleanse, but any amount of deliberate cleansing made me go to bed for at least a week, feeling like death. A healing crisis was a bit of an understatement! I was very enthusiastic about cleansing before I was ill, and felt that it was an answer to most ailments. However, experience has taught me this isn't always so and sometimes one needs to take things very slowly and gently, listening to the body constantly. Now that I am feeling better and not sleeping 18 hours a day, I may do a gentle liver cleanse in a few weeks when all the nettles and dandelions start growing again. I have to tread very carefully at the moment. Through looking after my diet and taking herbs and supplements I am now on about 60-70% energy (as compared with 20-30% a year ago). I really feel this illness has been a healing journey and probably saved me from an early grave! It has also taught me a lot about humility, how valuable health is, and an immense amount about healing. Regards, Liz.
Guest guest
Good on ya kiddo. Keep up the good work. Finish off with the Blood Detox Tea and Tinc after you've finished the Kidney Cleanse. Wait a week and then get that blood test. If it shows up negative, yer done. If the viral count is still existent, altenate week 3 with week 4 until it's down. I'd do this with a two week on, one week off. Remember to alternate your Echinacea with a week on and a week off. Guest guest
Hey Doc, Thanks for creating the possibility of NO viral load in your email...sometimes I forget that's actually a possible outcome. It actually motivated me to do the Blood Detox...which I really can't stand!! I am off it today...taking week 4 on without it- I will pick it up and finish it after the weekend and keep my diet raw and light throughout. Should I keep taking the DMSO- and if so- how much. I have had ZERO detox symptoms in this cleanse- no discomfort at all and have had good and steady energy. I have been taking 1 squirt of DMSO daily. When should I take it and how much? I am scared of overdoing with my liver- but I also obviously want to be effective. What's your opinion? Guest guest
Dear Elizabeth, You raise your dosage of DMSO by one more dropperful each time you "stop" stinking ;o) The more toxins out of your body, the less you stink. I've taken as much as two full oz of the stuff with no adverse effects whatsoever, and I've heard of others who've taken 3 times that much, again with no ill effects. It just happens to be one of those goodies that has been black PR'd by the establishment. Sooooooooo, go for it ;o) Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - Elizabeth herbal remedies Friday, September 05, 2003 10:16 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Re: Total Cleanse Hey Doc,Thanks for creating the possibility of NO viral load in your email...sometimes I forget that's actually a possible outcome.
