Guest guest
I have a patient who has a sort of psoriatic condition on the palmar region of his hands (mostly in the fleshy parts). The fleshy parts seem calloused, not hard, but a sort of lemon yellow (not bright) in colour. The life line and those regions seem to split deeply but do not bleed or heal properly. They are sore but are better for boiling hot water and worse for cold or cool. They are not rough. The patient is becoming quite distressed and depressed and would like instant results (I mean within 3 days) or he loses interest in the treatment and will not comply. He has a spastic adopted son that he massages each day because of fluid build up in the lungs, and feels that because of the nature of his sons skin (fragile) and the condition of his hands, he cannot be of much help. He uses pure almond oil and has been for years. This condition has only been apparent in the past few months. I had treated him naturopathically and homoeopathically with almost success but the condition has come back. It is rare. I had given him ARSENICUM ALBUM in pillule form, it had worked to the degree that he could open his hands and have some flexibility again, but then it went back again to being the way I first had explained it. I forgot to mention that his hands do not open fully either. I was also thinking of prescribing GRAPHITE but as he is better for heat I was torn between that and ARSENICUM. Please I need help in both treatment and dosage pretty quickly as he is very despondant with medical practitioners and being able to help him in the past he would like help again. I had also prescribed probiotics and Hypericum/Licorice/Chickweed/Calendula cream that I had made up with my tinctures and sorbelene base.
