Good evening...

It's around 11pm and I am back up with this really bad heartburn.

It's not indigestion to where my chest hurts and I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack.

It just a raging burn right in the middle of my chest and right below my breast bone...almost feels like it's right in the stomach.

If I turn over to my right side I can actually feel something hot and burning move, like lava going from one side of my stomach to the other. Turning over to my left side doesn't do this, but I don't sleep very well on my left side...

And, when I burp it burns my throat, I mean this stuff sets it on fire....

SOMEBODY...please...I'm begging....tell me something a pregnant woman can take.

The only other time I've ever had this, this bad, was when I was pregnant before and the only thing that would stop it was alka seltzer...and everyone has scared me too death of that.

Heck, anymore...I'm scared to take Tylenol pregnant or not, let alone anything else.

I can handle indigestion, but this stuff is getting in the way of what little sleep I have been getting.

Also, I wanted to ask if anyone thinks cold baths would be a problem for me being pregnant. I have a/c, but some days I get so hot and achy and just plain unnecessary that a really cold bath is the only thing that will rejuvenate me enough to make it through the rest of the day. It has to be cold enough that I shiver until I get used to it...

Lay it on me, what do yall think?

Thanks so much,

Angel

Hi Angel:

If you were to take 2 large glasses of water (large = 10 ozs) at the

time of your heartburn attack, wait 10 minutes and take two more

glasses of water.. that should help your heartburns big time..

What is happening is that your body is dehydrated.. therefore

creating more acid than is needed.. and the intestines are not

designed to receive or contain the high acid..

The same usage of water applies when one is very upset.. drink water

as mention about will help clear the mind..

You may want to read the article on water provided at this web site

http://www.sambiser.com/cancer_features/1.water_cancer.html

I have used water as such.. and it is very powerful.

Best to you

Mars

Count the coffee against your water intake- don't add it as water- it's

a diuretic.

If your mouth is dry you are dehydrated...drink 10 oz every waking hour

at least and lots of juicy fruit- fresh juices (do you have a juicer?)

is best...but I would only juice organic...

Starting the day with coffee is a mistake....

Start with water- a little squeeze of lemon is good too....a bit of aloe

if good too and should help your digestion....then have FRUIT for

breakfast- PAPAYA is perfect. Eat melons too.

Lot's of juicy fruit....if you " NEED " (bs, but anyway...;) your cup of

coffee have it later in the day- NOT on an empty stomach in the a.m.

Eat tons of fresh fruit and juice your greens...or get a good greens

drink that you use.

You need a good supplement if you are pregnant. Maybe a liquid one would

be easier for you.

You are not eating what you need to be as a pregnant person right now by

your description.

Also, you need to get exercise...a good walk and some yoga would be

great everyday. it takes a fit body to give birth. Are you planning a

natural birth?

You do need some protein. Smoking is not helping with your absorption

either....not to mention your babies.

Do you need help creating a diet that works?

Love,

Elizabeth
