Guest guest
Hi Chris, I don't have the answers, but I can share what I have done with success for my own (successful) 11-year battle with lower back pain. First of all, I spent most of those years seeing a multitude of doctors who gave me pill upon pill, painful treatment after painful treatment (those shots in the back are killers.) One drug gave me the worst nightmares I have EVER experienced! Many others just turned me into a zombie. I spent thousands of dollars on a chiropractor, who I really appreciated and respected, but after about 5 years he said he did not expect to " cure " my problem; the best we could hope for was to mitigate the pain - with, of course, 3-times-per-week adjustments. I also spent a year (and hundreds more dollars) working with a " pain psychologist " when the doctors couldn't find a cure. When I ended my " treatment " with him, I still had the back pain. What worked: First, I did lose over 100 pounds. That did not solve the problem, but it helped a little. Not as helpful, however, as the medical doctors kept telling me it would. Everyone assured me that the pain would end if I lost weight. It didn't. Next, I started getting all of the metal removed from my mouth. That did not immediately show any results. However ... I went to a naturopathic doctor who tested me and informed me that the remaining metal in one of my teeth was directly connected to, and causing, the pain in my lower back. 2 days after I had the metal crown and 5 pins removed, my pain lessened by at least 75%. And stayed at that level until ... I began a full body/emotions cleanse recommended by a dear friend, who had told me I had parasites that were causing part of my problem. I had pooh-poohed this theory - I mean, none of the doctors found anything like that, so how would he know? After the first half of the first phase of the cleanse (2 weeks), I excreted a large number of icky things that turned out to be dead parasites. Within 24 hours of this elimination, I have not had any more of the back pain/limitations that I have experienced for 11 years. Within this past 2 years, I did the following to supplement the results I got: - lost lots of weight; - changed my eating habits to be primarily (not exclusively) vegetarian and organic; - do frequent liver cleanses and kidney cleanses; - used a zapper regularly for the first year; - use an inversion table for those times I overdo the exertions and need some traction; - stopped taking ALL medications (admittedly without " professional " advice or supervision, so I don't say this is a good idea for everyone); - use the BF & C as a wrap around my back every month or so just to " feed " the tissues; - use the Nerve food tea/tincture to support the nerve regeneration. For many years I thought of myself as an invalid; I had my " handicap " placard for the car and I expected to never run/bicycle/dance/whatever again. Last year I started learning to play tennis. I ran on the beach daily until I moved to the desert; now I ride my bike, work out on weights, dance jump hop skip and delight in being able to move freely. Just being able to bend over and tie my shoes again is a pleasure. I wish this for your sister, too. I know how it is to be in constant, unrelenting pain. And I know the feeling of hopelessness/helplessness that comes of going to treatment after treatment without getting better. I hope something in here will prove to be of value to her.
