Guest guest
Dear R, Welcome... I know you are looking for Doc to answer and he will... but the first thing I would think about doing is a total cleanse to rid yourself of all the drugs.... You didn't say, what is your diet like? My question is specifically for the doctor. This is an important question. a female question. What may a woman do if she has both taken birth control pills in month, and then about a month later she has taken the depo provera shot. And now is trying to get pregnant and now cannot become pregant. Many people are saying that it is impossible to become pregnant once taken birth control pills and the depo provera shot. but my belief is, if someone created it then there must be a cure for it. It just has to be. Please doctor can you help me!!! And if you have any further questions I am also open to answering them. p.s. by using the depo provera shot the woman has not been able to have any children, and has tried for three months so far. thank-you, signed r. Guest guest
Welcome R, Well, I am not the Doc. My understanding is that one should be off it for a yr before trying to conceive. I am sure some women CAN get pregnant sooner, but I would want my body to be in balance and as healthy and clean as possible before trying to conceive. As someone who was pregnant at 39- this is very important I believe. Just another point- there is a type of birth control very big in Great Britain and most of Europe -but not well known in the US called a cervical cap. It has been my birth control choice for 15 years. It is excellent! It is much like a diaphram except tiny in comparison- like a rubber thimble. It is very effective and easy to use- and not " messy " like the diaphram. Some people use some spermicidal jelly but I did not. It worked perfectly for me until I chose to be pregnant 5 yrs ago. Ofcourse to prevent STDs one must use a condom. I think the pills and other chemical/hormonal stuff is pretty scary personally... This is actually a great topic to discuss- rarely discussed in this sort of forum. Love, Elizabeth On Friday, August 22, 2003, at 07:36 PM, rshern786 wrote: > greetings to all. Guest guest
I was on Depo for 2 years back in the late 70's. It took me 3 MORE years and many Dr.'s and pills later to get pregnant. Depo is so very bad. Mari - " rshern786 " <RShern786 <herbal remedies > Friday, August 22, 2003 7:36 PM [herbal remedies] Questions regarding the depo provera. greetings to all.
