Guest guest
Hey guys, uh..gals, I've got a friend with a problem. She's bleeding pretty heavily. I've got her on black cohosh to help in general, but this month it is really bad. Any other quick suggestions? She's non-herb oriented (a mental defect, I keep telling her) but she can't afford the usual route (and is scared the medico will give her bad news) and I think she's just about ready to listen to me. When I first took the morning drink, in my superior wisdom, I figured I was good enough, after two weeks on the cleanse, to put the whole 5 tbs. of olive oil in my glass. Additional ginger? Not me, I'm well on my way to total health, right. So anyway, I down the drink in a few gulps, and like a mini volcano, I erupted. My oh my! I couldn't find my ginger fast enough to keep it down. But I did and figured that was that. I set my watch to go off for the next alarm and decided to do school shopping for the kids. Yeah, right. I saw more restrooms in the last two days than I ever want to see again. I sure hope my islands of langerhands... dingerlings...whatever they are called are listening because not only have I burped garlic all day, my kids got a big kick out of the rumble and gurgling going on just below my belt line. I also haven't had to worry about being hungry on the juice fast. In fact, that has been the hardest to get down today, only because I've been so full of everything else that had to be taken. On to days 3-7. I will finish this cleanse, dammit! Sheila Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. Guest guest
I use liquid chlorophyl when i am heavy...2 or 3 tsp. per small cup of water...i usually only need it once...twice in one day at the most for me as it works that good...that isn't going to slow her bleeding down, but will help her feel more energetic. Has she had her thyroid checked? My cycle gets all wonky when my levels are off. Karly
Guest guest
She just turned 65, smokes, diet is the usual American one, not organic, and she's been wtching me on the cleanse this month, but isn't quite the believer. She takes whatever I give her, and has been taking (on her own) coral calcium, glucosamine, and a general multi-vitamin. Other than that, she's a newbie at herbs. In generally ok health, but about two years ago pulled all the muscles away from the ribs in her back, Medico told her there was no cure, just wait for the body to heal itself. That's how she started takeing the glucosamine and calcium. SheilaJanet Seidlitz <dragonhealing wrote: Sheila, need more info. How old is she? What is her history? How is her diet? Guest guest
I suffer from this problem every month and my medico doesn't think it's anything to be concerned about other than it might make me anemic. I go through the largest tampons every hour (or less) in the first 3 days of my period. I never thought that could be a good thing. It started that way after my last child 9 years ago. I had a tubal ligation at that time and I've always thought it could be the culprit. Blessed Be! Guest guest
Have her listen to my cassette lecture, and start her off from there. Red Raspberry leaf and catnip tea should help her dramatically, and it tastes pretty good ;o) Love, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - Sheila Burson herbal remedies Tuesday, August 19, 2003 9:53 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Need help really quick - female problem Hey guys, uh..gals, I've got a friend with a problem. Guest guest
Make some Panther Piss up right away for her. Total Nutrition would be a must since she is probably not getting anything from her food. Add some UDO's if you can too. The smoking has to stop. I know, easier said than done, but try to convince her to try for her own sake. Guest guest
Perhaps she was or is on birth control pills. This can extend periods way beyond their normal time. Love, Doc PS. This could also be the cause of her problems.
