Guest guest
Hello Doc.... I can understand you missing some posts being i think it was during your computer having the worm i talked about it. I have Beckers muscular dystrophy and has of Jan 2000 in a wheel chair after a week in the hospital for blood chots... i am all real safe foods now and taking PP and TT now each day and trying to stay with herbs and natureal healing all the way...only on one med and have it cut back all the way until i find something to take it's place and talk my MDA doctor to get me off if it... i am taking herbal classes this next month and looking up everything i can for whats good for us. Wish i could do the cleanse and when i get to the point of bed pan trips again i think i will do it then when my caregiver is not sick and i am sure i can be taken care of for that need many times a day. Right now it takes a lot out of me using the bath room 1 or 2 times a day... when we move this fall that might get better and she can use to lift to move me from toilet to chair and back.... so for now doing all i can to get my body working better again.... i am also on Atkins and did lose 5 and a half inches in 10 days and it has slowed now as i am putting fruits and more vegs in my diet. When i have the money i do buy and eat safe meats, eggs and cheese and not the store bought junk... Guest guest
Just a note on the Atkins diet. One of the places (not all of them) where it misses the boat is in demanding 100% Certified Organic Meats. If you don't go organic, this diet can be very dangerous. There are other things I disagree about it, but that is the biggest. Doc Hey there Greg,Just want to wish you the best! It's great that you are seeking your own/herbal solutions and trusting in nature's ability to heal. It sounds like you are very much on track and taking care of yourself. The Atkin's diet I don't *get*...(but admittedly, I tend to eat on a planet few will ever travel to) my bro is on it too right now...but what the heck- as long as it's working for you...a day at a time. Are you an "O" blood type? Just curious...Attitude makes all the difference- creating an inspiring possibility for yourself worth moving towards. Thanks for sharing what's going on.Take care!Elizabeth
