Doctors do not want to do anything for them until his healing is complete. They have prescribed topical medications as well as something for pain. The pain medications are obviously not doing much for the hemorrhoids. Does anyone know of ANYTHING else herbal or otherwise that would help him with the pain while he's healing? This could be in the form of topical, suppositories, etc. Any, and all suggestions would be appreciated. He did mention that the pain is not getting worse, but it's not improving either. Thanks much,Niz
Guest guest
Have your friend drink a cup or two of black tea per day for two days. This should shrink the hemorroids and reduce the pain. Then get him taking cayenne in powder form without the capsule or in a tincture. Also, golden seal and cascara sagrada will do wonders at helping to heal the bowels and the hemorroids. A decoction of cascara taken 1 teaspoonful three times a day 1 hour before meals. The golden seal can be taken in powder form (/2 - 2 grams) or in an infusion (1 - 2 teaspoonfuls 3 - 6 times per day) or a tincture ( 1/2 - 2 teaspoonfuls). HTH and he gets better. Don Quai Raspberry leaves (1/2 ounce powdered) and yarrow flowers (1/2 ounce powdered) and folded into 3 ounces of olive oil and 1 ounce of wheat germ oils and sufficient beeswax to make an ointment will help with external hemorrhoids. - nizoral2 herbal remedies Wednesday, August 13, 2003 10:19 AM [herbal remedies] Prostate Removed/Hemorrhoids A friend had his prostate removed near the end of July.
