Erin,

I have a couple.... one was not done "right" according to the second dr... he said the rods they used were the problems... I had it bothering me since it was done... had to have it redone... now no problems, except the tooth next to it is debating whether it wants to go the root canal or not.. (I'm working on it with Tooth & Gum formula).. some of my pain was the other tooth, but not all... I kept telling the dentist I could still feel - .. try some clove oil... and start her on the tooth and gum formula and see if after a few weeks it doesn't clear up... something else I did was take total tonic directly on the tooth for any infection I thought might be there.

He did a route canal in 2 visits instead of one, which she preferred. She is going to get a cap on the tooth when she can afford it. The last two mondays she has been in getting her teeth cleaned. Now here is the problem. Her tooth started hurting again today! I was under the impression that a route canal...well, it shouldnt hurt anymore afterwatrds, like getting the actual tooth pulled, the roots gone, ect.

Then the tooth is fixed...???? It has been 3 weeks since it was "finished". She is considerably upset and says she feels pressure in it. Of course once a tooth is completely worked on adn all the money is spent you shouldnt start having trouble with it again. She said she heard of a woman whose teenege daughter got a route canal and cap instead of pulling the tooth. But then later they said they now neede to pull the tooth. This doesnt make sense to me!?! You can either fix it, or pull it. If you fix it --- it should be fixed and not need pulled!!! Anyone have any advice/stories/experience? She cant put anything in her mouth as a treatment as it only irritates because some of her other teeth are bad. I am not looking for treatments really, more ofsuggestions about this tooth now. Thanks in advanceErin Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Sounds like more infection has built up, she should see the dentist again..with the canal blocked and the toother sealed, there is nowhere for the infection to go...otherwise since it's in the top, it could be the sinuses are infected and makes it seem like the tooth again. Either way she has to go back to that one or another dentist.

It could also be referred pain from another tooth going. Sometimes the trauma of working on one will set off another after a while. Referred means that you think it's a tooth that can't be in pain and you would be right, it's another tooth beside it and it feels like the pain is coming for the dead one.

The dentist can do an electric test on the dead tooth to see if its really 'dead..then find the one that hurts now.

I agree- but add- make sure to properly dilute it first!

;-) Clove is very strong....Chamomile is very good too and anti

inflammatory. Also good....and a mouthwash of sage tea.

Tooth pain

1 drop Clove

3 drops Chamomile, roman

1 drop Lemon

1 teaspoon olive oil

If more clove is required for numbing action add by the drop- Peppermint

essential oil may also help w/ the pain mixed w pure lavender. Also try

a cool compress.

Good luck!

I think that's a good substitution- it's a perfect base. If you have

Helichrysum eo that is a more equal substitute for Chamomile eo. But in

either case the infused base is great.

It's soothing and good for reducing swelling.
