Friend of mine called me this morning she has burning sensation in her palms, foot, and on the beck of her neck. She said no changes on the skin, only burning sensation, that makes her nervous and stressed.

The only thing I can think of is maybe shampoo - as it hits all of those areas. The hands as the massage the head, the back of the neck, and if she takes showers the suds always hits the feet. If she hasnt changed shampoos perhaps her body is now reacting to it. Maybe it is as simple as trying a change, other than that I have no clue

Jasmina...I have peripheral neuropathy, and these are

just some of the symptoms of this disease. Peripheral

neuropathy is peripheral nerve damage (feet, hands,

neck, eyes) and sometimes mine is so severe, I cannot

walk, I just sit in a recliner and cry from the pain.

My legs shake like Parkinson's, and the burning never

stops. I have never found any herbal remedy for it.

Neurontin is the drug of choice, it does help, and

without it, i can't walk. I wish there were something

I could take to get off (or at least cut back) the

neurontin, as it addles the mind. cant sit down to

read, cant concentrate, cant think, sometimes cant

talk, words come out slurred, sounding like I'm

drunk. If anyone has any herbal suggestions, I would

love to hear them.

Windflower,

have you ever done a total body cleanse... (curious)... and I assume your diet is good...

Have you tried the nerve formula in the files (not the sedative)...and I'm thinking DMSO would be a plus... I would give Doc a call on this...

It sounds like a toxic or allergic response to me. What is her diet and heath/

wellbeing like? I would want to see what else is going on and then take on a

complete cleanse.

Hey Folks,

What about nerves? I know some folks in my family have burning and itching (on various body parts) when our nerves are in full swing from bad situations in life...

My grandma had it so bad, she would just lay in the bed and cry from the itching. She said if she scratched it, it would burn. Sometimes, she'd scratch in her sleep so much, she'd have sores and then they would burn (like a sunburn) the next day.

I know when my nerves are mad (for lack of a better word), I will itch like I have bugs or poison ivy or something...all over the sides of my back and extremities. And, I have dug sores in my scalp during my sleep before...and, it burns while I scratch also.

I just have to take the attitude that I don't give a sh-- about what ever is going on, that's how bad it gets sometimes...and, I also like to take a really nice (almost) too hot bath with oatmeal or something soothing, and while I'm laid back in the tub, I relax my mind as much as my body. Sometimes, it's not as easy as it sounds...because usually when things bother me that bad, it's pretty important. But, I have learned for my poor old skins sake...and nerves...to relax the mind. I do candles that smell good and any kind of music that will get my mind off what's going on at first, then I play some real easy, soothing music to relax my mind to...

I've been known to stay in the tub for hours...redoing the water until there's probably no trace of oatmeal or what have you...

My mother accuses me of just not caring...she doesn't understand how I put up with some things and not show signs or have mental breakdown...

I have just taken the attitude (much of it from being on this list) that I may not be able to control everything that goes on around me, but I'll be damned if it's going to control me to the point of breakdown or even too much aggravation.

Does that make me selfish or mean...well, I've been accused of much, much worse.

And, this may all sound kooky or a crock...but, it works for me!!!!!! muawahahahaha

Just a thought, these may be two different things...
