Guest guest
Thanks for the peppermint idea. I'll start using it. I'm already doing the ginger tea, and that isn't helping. As for day six, I didn't notice too much difference from Day Five, probably because my body is gearing up to surprise me in Week Two. The one thing I am noticing, is that I'm not so hungry all the time anymore. And since I've started this cleanse, I've never had a "craving" - not for chocolate, not for meat, not for anything. For years I've thought about going vegan, but thought it would hurt too much to give up my goodies - maybe this is a good way to ease into it. By the way, my two boys that are still at home are doing what they call a "modified" version of this - they just don't know it. When I fix my Dragon Snot, I give them a glass each, calling it a fruit smoothie. When I shopped for my ingredients, I deliberately bought no meat, telling them we were moving to veggies and fruits and they could have all they wanted. They've never asked for meat since, either. When I take my Cleanse #1 herbs, I give them a couple as well. Boy, is our septic system getting a workout! My son is going on an all-day fishing trip on Sunday and he's alrady planning what fruits he wants to take for the day. He hasn't even asked about McDonald's or any of the junk food places since I started this. SheilaLisa Belcher <lisabelcher wrote: I'm with you on that one Janet! I'll be starting after my mom has been for a visit, sometime in September. love, Lisa - Dragonhealer herbal remedies Wednesday, August 06, 2003 9:17 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Re: Day Five, Week One of Cleanse Ginger tea is good for the gas. Peppermint would do as well. It is better to spit the mucus out, as it will just cycle through your body again anyway. And the Ginger is helping with my circulation as well.
