Day Five, Week One of Cleanse

Well, it's almost time for bed. The bowels are flowing well, the throne room is becoming so familiar to me, I can find it in the dark, and I finally remembered to buy the organic eggs today. So, tomorrow I'll add the eggs to my Dragon Snot.

Not much else to report today, other than I seem to be developing a few small boils on my thighs, about 1/2 the size of a dime. And I'm getting a lot of phlegm in my throat in the evenings. So I've reread the postings about boils and cysts and am wondering - should I try to spit out the phlegm or swallow it? So far I've been spitting it out, but it looks so gross and I don't like hacking to bring it all up.

I'm also beginning to like the ginger tea.

Still a lot of gas, but at least it still has no smell.

Oh, yeah, and today when I went to put on my favorite suit for work, I actually had to pin the skirt together or it would have fallen off. If that is a side-effect, I love it!

Ginger tea is good for the gas. Peppermint would do as well. It is better to spit the mucus out, as it will just cycle through your body again anyway. I am sooooo looking forward to being able to do this myself and finally lose that pregnancy fat *sigh*.
