Guest guest
Every woman has a finite amount of eggs to start with. When they run out menopause occurs. You do not use any eggs when you are pregnant, so in a way your mom is right. But there is no way to tell how many eggs you have left in your arsenal hehe! So don't worry about it :-) Janet - Anna herbal remedies Tuesday, August 05, 2003 6:09 AM [herbal remedies] Menopause (WAS: P M S) I hear that you stop having your period at a younger age if you never hadkids. Guest guest
Oh John, I am so sorry for your wife! Last year we were trying desperately to get pregnant...everything under the sun...or so I thought at the time... I even made him sit with frozen food down there at night after work...yes, that's how hard we were trying for just one more...and he so good heartedly complied... Well, I finally went to the doctor and was told that I must be going through menopause. That was the only reason given. I had a bunch of blood work and it all came back normal... Anyhow, we give up...after about nine good months of trying and getting hopeful and then disappointing...you ain't never seen PMS until you been around a woman trying to get pregnant and she has a period. Anyhow, at the beginning of this year I found this list... Now, I can't prove this...but, I started taking the TT and PP...especially after we lost the shop as I didn't want to get sick and go to the doctor..anyway, like I said I can't prove it was just those two things or giving up...or all three combined, but I was pregnant by the end of March, beginning of April. Let me be so bold as to tell yall what all we tried before this... Last year we tried every single night for three months. My honey likes it, but we both were about dead. Then, I read somewhere that this might cause the sperm count to go down...so, we slowed down to every third night...and I dared him to waste 'it' in the shower! We tried all kinds of positions that let me tell you, DOES NOT agree with our body condition! Then, I read about the frozen food and it took a lot of convincing...but, he did it. I even changed his underwear from briefs to boxers, even though he was very used to the support of the briefs. I didn't get out all together either, I was taking all kinds of vitamins and doing all this meditation to convince my body I could get pregnant, maybe visualization or something. And, I'd lay flat on my back for an hour before I got up 'afterwards', just to help them along their way. Well, Wayne did get the worst end of it...except my shame of going to the doctor (I detest doctors so much I literally get knots in my stomach when I do go, it's a nervous wreck episode) I tell you, we did all kinds of things I probably just can't think of right now... I even heard that 'it' would happen more easily on the full moon and 'it' was double potent on the full moon in October. I even heard that hot spicy foods would help...but, my honey won't eat tomatoes, let alone anything remotely hot... Well, we still had no dice until we gave up and I was so worried about losing the shop I didn't have time to think about it...and, I was taking PP and TT... Sorry I'm only good for a chuckle...but, this is what happened to us... Angel All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV for both our protection. - John Ybarra herbal remedies Tuesday, August 05, 2003 6:14 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Menopause (WAS: P M S) My wife went to a gyno about a year ago, maybe alittle less, because we have been trying to have ababy for almost 5 years. No luck. I have been checked(rather embarassing, I must admit) for my wigglies. They are fine. The Dr told her, before even examiningher, that she just had "old eggs", and that we shouldstop trying. She came home in tears. Needless to say, that Dr, his office staff, and all of the patients inthe office got an earfull when I went down there.=====John Ybarra

Guest guest
Erin, I do know that as you get much older... your hair doesn't grow as fast .(kind of like your hair on your head thinning and graying).. my mom has said this.. but I don't believe it has to do with menopause... but rather aging... I know my mother still has to do shaving and she's had the complete hysterectomy. Guest guest
Good for you John. No such thing as "old eggs" IMHO. A lot of the time when the woman just relaxes and stops worrying about getting pregnant all the time, she gets pregnant. I have known woman in their 50's who have stopped their periods, get pregnant and have healthy children to boot. Guest guest
Hair growth should stay the same. Hormones out of balance usually cause too much or too little hair growth.
