Okay, everyone, I've started the first day of the Intestinal Cleanse. How did it go, did you say? Well, I began a little diary and here it is:

If you guys think I can handle a second day of this, I'll keep a running diary. Otherwise, I'll not post it until I am completely done. Let me know.

Okay, all, how about I just write the whole thing at the end of the day.

Here is day two:

Everything started off fine, except I kinda sorta reneged on going to work out. Instead, I walked for an half-hour around the block (you know, fresh air, exercise and all that). It still worked up quite a sweat.

I started out this morning with a touch of a headache, not a migraine, and as soon as I drank the dragon snot, it went away. First time for that, usually, when I feel a headache coming on, I head for a dark room and pray for four hours that it isn't a migraine.

The biggest thing I've noticed today is the gas. No diahhrea, no bloating, but lots of gas. Had plenty of bowel movements, not constipated either. I had planned on today being really rough, so I was pleasantly suprised. I noted that I seem to be cravng the water, but that's a good thing. The kids joined me this morning for some Dragon Snot, that was a real surprise. And they liked it. Wow!

Had my salad for lunch and added another tomato sandwich. I'm really beginning to crave tomatoes - me, the person who used to hate them with a passion. Can my taste buds be changing along with everything else?

Now it's 5:00 and I've done a second workout down at the gym, taken the hot/cold shower thing again and am getting ready to prepare my ginger tea (yes, I finally made it to the store again).

I'll check in tomorrow evening and let everyone know how I do.

It should be a word text file...like word pad...or note pad...

My guess it is a word perfect file? Just save your files as text so everyone can read it.I'd be interested in learning what you have to say too about the cleanse. I can't do any cleanses because I am breastfeeding still, but am very anxious to try it out. I don't know how long my daughter will breastfeed, we are almost on yr 2 and my first daughter quit at 2 1/2 yrs, so we shall see. Anyway, good luck!!!LisaSheila Burson <sbursonherbal remedies Date: Fri, 1 Aug 2003 21:18:40 -0700 (PDT)herbal remedies Subject: Re: [herbal remedies] Day One of Intestinal Cleanse, Week One

Angel:

I've heard of doing this before, so I cheated/amended/did it a little differently. I started the shower at my regualr temperture and stood under it until I got comfortable, then began "turning up the heat" until it was as hot as I could stand. I stayed at that level for the time frame, and then began doing the opposite - slowly turning it colder until it was as cold as I could stand. I don't know if that is what Doc had in mind, but as I move into Day Three, I'm trying as best I can to stay faithful to Doc and at the same time not kill myself.

Hey Girl,

I am really starting to admire you...

How in the world can you take the hot/cold showers?...with the cold turned all the way to cold?

First (and only) time I tried this I was out of the shower with the curtain on the floor before I knew what I'd done, tring to get my breath...

Woow! Gives me the chills just thinking about it. It's GOT to work.

Thanks for posting again...looking forward to hearing some more.
