Guest guest
hi, well you can def. compost it...but i've also heard that the pulp IS still nutritious so could be fed to an animal or even with your food-- i've actually included the pulp in quinoa and rice for texture and i'm sure it could be added to soups. i'd be interested to hear what others think about the nutritional value though... luv laura herbal remedies , " Tanya " <tshydog@h...> wrote: > Hello, > I recently became a new juicer. Guest guest
YA ! That pulp can be utilized. I juice but I haven't gotton to the point of incorporating it back into the juice. I just (unfortunately) throw it out, what a waste. The only time I do use it is to mix it into the liver treats and raw meat patties I make for my dog. Guest guest
back in 1979 when I started juicing i had a garden and I would just dig it in around the plants and in a short time it would have turned to soil and enriched it. I stopped juicing for various reasons, but have begun to do it again and that is what I'm doing now. I am also experimenting with a trash can to compost in as i bought a smaller place and have less garden area and nowhere to put the organics that are trimmed or weeded out of the small garden except in the trash can. I will put it in the garden when it is ready. I don't feel that it is wasted that way as the soil needs food, too. Sometimes i do dig a hole and bury it in this small groups of garden. love..lee. herbal remedies , " Tanya " <tshydog@h...> wrote: > Hello, > I recently became a new juicer.
