Hi All

Have a question regarding the odor of my first homemade tincture. It'

stinging nettle, and it smells a little sour. Is that normal? I have had

the tea from fresh and dried leaves, but not the tincture before. Could

it have gone bad?? I kept it in a canning jar, and used an old lid,

shaking it every day.

Do you add water to your tinctures? If you add too much water the alcohol wont be able to preserve it enough
