Tina,

I have seen it cure many things.... one case of asbestos poisoning was the only case I saw it come back... The man quit taking it when he got better... He had a bout of pnumonia and started going downhill..found the asbestos poisoning had flared up again also...(it had been in remission when on the essiac)... If he had continued to take it instead of stopping when he got better it would probably have cured him totally, but will never know.

I have seen it cure cancer totally.. I lost track of the person several years after so whether it came back or not - can't say. I don't believe in taking any herb which you are taking for a cure on a long term basis as in every day for the rest of your life. You need to take breaks after you're cured.. The only thing I do take every day is total tonic (well almost every day) Others might disagree here on the long term but this is my thing.

Hello All

I am new to the group. I thought I'd say hi. I have alway been interested in herbal remidies and Chinese medicine as well. So have enjoyed reading your messages.

I wanted to ask if anyone could provide some information on this product called "Essiac tea" which is believed to be effective for cancer prevention or does it actually cure all cancers? I have heard about cancer survivers who take this supplments to prevent recurrence..does it really work wonders? If it does really work, I would like to add it to my diet. Your thougthts would be much appreciated! Thanks!

My next door neighbor and DH best friend went both routes and (don't know it was Essiac, but diet, and such) with in a year he was ready to go back to work...

Now THIS is good news :)

His doctor wouldn't release him unless he either had one more operation or one last big blast of radiation...

What do you mean the doctor wouldn't release him?

Was your mom's cancer to the point of shutting down major organs? At this point essiac cannot cure but give more time and quality time to the person.

I am curious, did you make your essiac or buy it already made....?

It didn't cure my Mom's cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme)...but we feel that it probably helped to add some time for her.

I think it would be a great addition for anyone...perhaps preventing a lot of things in the long run?

she took it every day...how ever many times it was recommended on the box....1/2 cup pure mixed with 1/4 to 1/2 cup water...depending on how thick and strong that dose turned out to be.

That was the essiac... I've seen people with only weeks to live go months if not years...I do know that it works better if you follow the instructions explicitly and take it undiluted at max dosage...

Stage 4...Most GBM's are stage 4,at least the type she had was. She had 7 weeks of radiation (66 greys) and 7 months of chemo....we had her on a whole bunch of other "natural remedies" as well. The thing about all this is that SOMETHING worked to give her time. She was not supposed to have lived more than 3 months, but managed to make it 15 months. After her second craniotomy, her cancer had gone into the stage 5 zone...i don't know of very many people who even make it to that stage. I don't think your being nosy! I say ask and learn!

KarlyAnjeweleyes <anjewelhaze wrote:

What stage was the cancer when she was diagnosed?

Did she have any other treatment? Not trying to be nosy, just curious...cancer is rampant in both my husbands and my own family and I can thank that stuff for getting me this far into the natural remedies world...

My next door neighbor and DH best friend went both routes and (don't know it was Essiac, but diet, and such) with in a year he was ready to go back to work...

His doctor wouldn't release him unless he either had one more operation or one last big blast of radiation...

He chose the radiation...and, had went off the diet and natural treatments...

This was a huge blast of radiation and what ever happened another tumor popped back up and he gave up...never did get to go back to work...but, he lasted for about six more months...

All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV for both our protection.

one package at a time...I believe,if i remember right? that it was 5 cups of distilled water.

That's all we drink is distilled/bottled. Steel pot...all that jazz.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Essiac MUST be brewed correctly and taken at therapeutic doses regularly. Also, diet changes are wise.
