Guest guest Posted July 24, 2003 Report Share Posted July 24, 2003 hi. so this is a really good recipe when you are craving a healthier dessert type food. i made a double batch last year for the holidays and everyone loved them. enjoy. luv laura *********************************************** Ginger Snap Cookies Organic Ingredients: 3/4 cup maple syrup 1/4 cup molasses 1/2 cup oil (i use light olive oil) 3 tblsp grated ginger root 2 1/2 cup pastry flour (i think i used whole wheat pastry but could also do a non-wheat sub.) 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Directions: Mix dry and add liquid. Oil baking sheets and scoop out 1 tblsp per cookie 1 " apart (will spread). Bake for 15 min at 350 degrees.
