Guest guest Posted July 23, 2003 Report Share Posted July 23, 2003 Dragon's Nest Salad 1 head of green cabbage, shredded 1 lg. carrot, shredded 1 sm. white onion, finely chopped 1/2 cup rice or almond milk 1/2 cup ACV 6 Tbl. unrefined sugar 1 tsp. cumin Small handful ( about 3 Tbl.) fresh cilantro, finely chopped Sprouted nuts or seeds Toss veggies and cilantro in large bowl. Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over cabbage mixture. Toss till evenly coated, cover and refrigerate 3 hours to let tastes blend. By the way it is very, very dark brown usually. Also called molasses sugar, Muscavado sugar and various other names. Quite good too. I think maple wood be too overpowering and give it a nasty color. I think honey would be great though.
