Can herbs be added to food as a seasoning. My mother read that hops

is very good for you so she drinks a beer in the evening. I do not

care for beer. Is it possible to add hops, scullcap, chamomile,

passion flower, or any other herb to your food.

Hops is not good to take constantly. Also, beer has a lot of things in it added that are bad for you, so taking beer is not the same as taking hops in another way for the medicinal benefit. The relaxing she gets from beer may be related to Hops. You can certinaly add herbs to your food for seasoning. You should do a search on the web for "herb recipes". I know that some people add lavendar to cookies, chamomile as a type of dish, ect, but I do not have any on hand.

Best of luck to you

Erin
