Guest guest
You are totally right on here! ~A > Oh, Honey....it sounds like you have classic baby blues...or maybe mommy blues...(MAJOR STRESS) > I've had this...before I met my honey... > I can tell you that I was so sick and disgusted with my weight I just couldn't see straight...so, I cut down on even a whole meal or two on days when I was really bad off...but, then I only gained more weight because (my opinion, could be wrong) my body thought I was starving, so it kept every ounce of fat, plus everything I put into it... > If you starve yourself, or eat only a little of the wrong stuff (basically starving your body though) that's not going to help. Your body knows it needs everything it can " get it's hands on " to feed that baby, so it ain't gonna give up anything willingly... > And, I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but if you start eating good stuff...then, you'll feel much better... > I can't in good faith tell you to stop nursing...I wouldn't stop. But, bread and sugar...at least cut down on it... > You see, before I hit rock bottom and figured out that only I could stop this needless self inflicted harassment, I even went so far as to blame my kids for all my problems...worst mistake this old noggin ever made...but, the truth's the truth. > (My head is pounding, I'm so worried about you and if this advice is on target, please wait for others to correct me). > Ms. Suzi, I'm sure will have some ideas, as well as Amanda (she's current on alot of stuff about babies the natural way). > How about a good old hot bath with Lavender, and a liquid burner for the house? > Oh, it's been such a long time...and this last post brought back such nightmares...I just wish I could come over there and fix what evers so wrong! > Please, I beg you, don't take it out on the kids, they may forgive you, but you won't forgive yourself. > Oh, woo is me...this is a very big personal " button " of mine...my apologies if I've went too far. > Best wishes and all the love I can muster, > Angel > All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV for both our protection. > > - > Lauren Bastow > herbal remedies > Tuesday, July 22, 2003 12:41 PM > RE: [herbal remedies] Failure to Thrive - definition > > > No I don't. I can barely eat. I think it's a waist of time. All I do is get fatter and fatter and fit into less and less clothes. It's also a task that is never done. Much like raising kids which I'm none the fond of either. <y diet consists of waffles for breakfast, cereal with soy milk (sugar cereals) tuna fish, turkey sandwiches and that's about it.
