Guest guest
Baking Soda is used to raise the Total Alkalinity of the pool water. You could try the Nature2 sanitizer. It uses minerals to sanitize the pool, but doesn't state what they use. I plan to try it in my spa. You will still have to " shock " the pool occasionally with chlorine when it gets cloudy. Chlorine is a strong oxidizer and is needed to " burn up " all of the dissolved organics in the water. www.nature2.com Scott
Guest guest
I would think better might be 35% hydrogen peroxide. Less toxic than chlorine. This will definitely shock the pool.
