Guest guest
For those who don't have access to the Files Love, Doc Copyright PolicyIntellectual Property Theft is very prevalent in today's society, and millionsare spent every year in copyright infringement trials around the world. For me, it is not about the money from lost business or lost sales, it is simply very bad manners. The bottom line is that it is stealing. It is plain and simple THEFT!Most artists (including sculptors, painters, writers, etc.) appreciate the money, but there is one thing that appears to be more valuable than gold orjewels to the artist, and that is the kudos. The applause and admiration of the audience seem to be the basic bread and butter of the artist. What a let down to see one's hard won work being attributed to another. Whata crime to not get at least the acknowledgement and some remuneration due one for the effort of one's creations. This does not mean that one should not copy someone else's style, for what greater flattery is there than duplicating another's technique? Furthermore, there is continuing the research based on earlier pioneers in a field that isvital to improving a subject. Early stalwarts such as Doc Christopher, and DocJensen always promoted to their students, "Take what you have learned from meand carry the ball forward. Take what I am teaching you and improve on it!"This holds true in both the arts and the sciences. Religion, I leave alone as it is brought forth through divine inspiration and should be left as is.Therefore, this list's copyright policy is as follows.1.
