Guest guest
O.k. I've got a weird one for you, and I'm not expecting an answer because of it's weirdness. I'm layin out in the sun(on my tummy)my sweat is making it's way into my mouth and it has not hint of a taste of salt. It is very neutral and if anything would be more on the lemony or citrus end of it, but it's not even that. I know w/o giving you my diet and yada yada yada that it's a tough one to answer. Should I be worried, No really, I'm having these light dizzy headed episodes there on the tame side and I've always pretty regularly had them/ come and go. The part of them tho that is bothering me is I have had a couple episodes where I'm basically blinded in my right eye, I can see light and it's just a big blur and it lasts a few minutes and goes away, recently has happened twice. I've also noticed my sight in general has taken a dump in the last couple months but I'm on a computer all the time. So is it as simple as lacking electrolyes and if so how do I get those w/o drinking gatorade. I'm a vegi head, very minute carbs, sugar etc. actually a very clean eater, not dehydrated don't smoke. Any one with an opinion. I've searched my favorite sights but they yeild no viable results for me. maybe I'm not gettng enough carbs so my insulin is down?????? Guest guest
Pee Tee If you are not a salt eater, and if you perspire a lot, I would guess this is why...These are signs of a heat stroke...Drink lots of fluids, avoid midday sun, wear a hat, keep a cool wet towel handy...for your neck and face. If you Must get out in the sun....Be careful!!! You lose potassium in these conditions, either eat bananas, or take an potassium supplement...And eat a little salt...It wouldn't hurt to eat a few carbs either in case low sugar is at fault too...Gaye
Guest guest
Do you use any natural salt at all in your diet? Yes, an electrolyte imbalance can do very strange things. Docs Total Nutrition formula a must for you. Make sure you are buying only certified organic foods.
