Sheep Sorrell ** - Latin Name " Rumex Acetosella " .. query:

When I was a child we picked what we called Sheep Sorrell

and the discription for this Rumex sounds exactly like it... I am

wondering if this is of the same family as oxalis and wood sorrell?

I still use it in salads along with Cleavers, dandelion, and lambs

quarter Lamb's-quarter, (chenopodium album) also known as Pig-weed. I

have a pic of wood sorrell at

http://www.geocities.com/tvksi/wild01.htm#wsor

also the lambs quarter.

This is not spam. my web site is not commercial. just some things i

have collected the past few years from my yard, mostly.

is it allowed to attach a picture of it here???

i am interested in making some Essiac. you folks have about sold me on

it! thanks.

love...lee.
