Hello again all...

I recently read a journal entry somewhere that the teens in Remote, unfarmed

Papua New Guinea did not have acne like American teens and of course it was

the fried food that European, Asian and American Teens consume (or so the

article said...) Of course I was thinking that they also must be eating a

lot closer to the bottom of the food chain, hopefully without modern

" conveniences " such as pesticide and HMO food (unlike poor India, damn the

greedy corporations' souls and their rotten HMO seeds! ) and would not be at

all surprised that this was the real reason they were so clear in skin.

The other thing I had been taught is that many oils are fine to use cold.

But if an oil becomes cloudy or solid(ish) in the fridge, that it can not be

used hot in sauté's or frying or even in baking as the heat changes the

chemical interaction and it becomes a trans fatty acid. So far in my

experiment for the VERY little amount of oil I use hot, I have found that

only corn oil does not change in the fridge. Of course finding it organic

is a lot of fun. Any one else done some research in this?

Thank you again for all your help...

re: BTW-Has anyone tried deep-frying battered dandelion tops like

okra...Very good, tasty...yummmm. They

tasted like a mix between okra & Brussels sprouts. Tried this when visiting

an aunt in IN..Olive oil a must & need substitute to white flour for batter

(for this and other recipes)...
