blackstrap molasses is an excelletn source of iron too - I would try that for his age daily. Hopefully he can get used to the taste - maybe try mixing it with something, like oatmeal? I have no idea on the taste just know its excellent for you and loaded with iron

Any chance you could get liquid chlorophyll in him? It doesn't taste

great, but it would do the trick. :o) (1 tsp a day mixed in water

or organic juice -and get organic chlorophll if you can)

I have moms who have hemorrhaged after birth use this to build up

their iron count fast, and have personally done it myself more than

once! It really does the trick and fast.

Re: [herbal remedies] Re: Pediatric Iron Supplement

I drink liquid chlorophil. They make some that is minty flavored. This stuff is weird, I swish it in my mouth for a really long time and it has a strange effect, It never warms up in my mouth, and I like the taste of it. I get it on the shelf at the Fred Meyer nutrition center.PAM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...........<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>Any chance you could get liquid chlorophyll in him?
