Guest guest
Angel, If you do decide to homeschool in the fall you will probably need to send a letter of intent to the superintendent. My only advice to you on this is to be as brief as possible. The school does not need to why you are homeschooling or anything else. Only that you are. Here is an example of what I write every year: To Whom it may concern; Sierra (age 13, grade 8), Michaela (age 10, grade 5) and Donovan (age 8, grade 3) will be educated at home for the 2003-2004 school year. Sincerely, (both dh and I sign this) I do include my childrens' last name and address as well. Blessed Be! Guest guest
You're catching on now girllll......Here's a few: •Don't have to RUSH, rush to the bus. •No more tardies •No more detention for minor silly things!! •P.J.'s>>>>>>> •Healthy snacks and lunches. •On that note-no more temptation of these. •No more of those " Looks " from know it all teachers, principals, nurses.... •No more time limits on when your kid completely GETS a subject. (Stay on it until they do) •No more getting in line to get a drink of water or go to the bathroom. I can think of more later....My daughter once raised her hand to go to the bathroom, (she had bladder-kidney problems) the teacher ignored her, and when she finally asked her what she wanted, she refused to let her go, my daughter said " I've got to go pee, right now " .......DIdn't go too well....a paddling...needless to say after my husband and I got through with the school, they never laid another hand on her!!! But Boy did we catch hell!!! She could breathe too hard and get sent to detention!!! Later, Gaye

No more breathing the harsh, toxic, industrial cleaning solutions they use. What about catching lice......
Guest guest
We have to call the school attendance officer, tell her we are going to homeschool, she sends a card to fill in with Name, Age, Birthdate, Social Security Number, Address, phone #, Subjects, list of materials (curriculum). and that's it...we sign it, and send it back.
