Angel,

I don't see where Total Nutrition would hurt being pregnant,,, is there something in particular that you are asking here? It would be much better than prenatal vits... if you iron is good and you are putting more in with the prenats... that might be what is making you sick....

Could I take Total Nutrition instead of the Prenatal Vitamins they want you to take while pregnant? I just can't see taking something that I really don't feel has any power except to make me nauseous, no matter what time or with what I take them with.

My iron is very good, could that be why the vits are making me nauseous?

Or is it just junk making me sick?

I asked the ob, and all she had to say was she was sorry they made me nauseous and to take them anytime with anything that would help me...not surprised...help!!!! (I just haven't been taking them.)

Better question:

If you were pregnant (or your wife, lol) what, if anything, would you take/suggest besides food?

Thanks a bunch,

Angel

Angel I wish I had Doc's Dragon Snot recipe when I was pregnant. It is made up of foods, can't hurt you or the baby and will go a long way to helping you have more energy and not be so nauseous all the time. Packaged prenatal vitamins have fillers, colorings, and preservatives that should never be a part of anyone's diet much less a pregnant woman's. When I was pregnant I went to the health store and found one with no preservatives or anything artificial. To forgo the arguments I simply took the prescription and never had it filled LOL! My 3rd pregnancy the doctor was a gem, he encouraged his patients to look into natural supplements and loved to learn new things. First OB I ever heard of that actually recommended simple herbs and natural tips for expecting moms.
