Am I making any sense here??? Doc I took valerian capsules awhile back, that were pretyt much just valerian. Both nights I got minor heart palpitations so stopped taking them. At the time I was taking themf or messed up sleeping patterns. I researched and found a small amt of people experience this as a side effect. I also know valerian is usually safe for the heart and used in some mixures for sleeping aides of those with heart conditions. I dont have valerian now - but I did buy some skullcap and tincture it. My question is do you think then I should start tyring to take valerian in small doses in the future, or did I misunderstand completely again? LOL - thanks for your help - you guys DONT have to invest all this time but you do and I, for one, appreciate people like you!!! Guest guest
That is exactly what I'd recommend Erin. Start taking it again but in much smaller quantities to begin with. Make sure you use only high quality stuff you make yourself or from a trusted source.
